This is what happens when a fantasy sports game and a fantasy world have a magical baby. In The Realms, powerful heroes seek adventure, influence, and glory for their Factions. You will draft a team of these heroes and guide them through their legends, sharing in victories and agonizing over defeats.

FF wraps the mechanics of fantasy sports around the ongoing activity of a fantasy world:
Characters are persistent RPG participants with classes, stats, tendencies and fully fleshed-out AI personalities
Players draft and manage a Team of those Characters
The World has realms, factions, and peoples all at odds with one another for all the things
At set real-world times, factions Battle each other over castles, dungeons, and territory in a simulation where Characters perform automagically to accrue points for their Team.
The performance of the Characters in battles determines their points, their value, their additions to history, and their development over time as the Story progresses
The Vision
There are two aspects to fantasy sports that make up its insane appeal, driving millions of players to draft, manage, bet, trade, watch, read, exult, and lament the results of so many real-world sports games: they are rooted in the emotional fantasy of being those athletes, and they are deeply performance driven (stats, development, trajectory).
Which makes fantasy sports an RPG. We just don't call it that.
Emotion: Arguably the best thing about fantasy sports games is the emotional attachment to the players on your team. Throughout the season, you're locked into not only their performance on the field, but their health, state-of-mind, and antics off the field. This game will provide that. During games (battles), your Characters will fight, struggle, live, and even die. You will manage them, field them in battle, and even discuss their next adventure with them. Each Character has a unique AI personality, informed by their real history and evolved based on what really happens.
Performance: There are winners, losers, MVPs, wild cards, and surprise rookies in fantasy sports. Just as we pore over the stats, attributes, and tendencies of our fantasy sports athletes, so too will you have deep and powerful insights into what the Characters on your team might do next. Will your once-mighty Paladin need to hang up his sword? Or is he ready for glorious redemption in the next battle? Perhaps it's time to slot in your mercurial Wizard as the leader of your Team...
